ÇANAKKALE ONSEKİZ MART ÜNİVERSİTESİ ZİRAAT FAKÜLTESİ

Fakültemiz 1995 yılında Ezine’ye bağlı Üvecik köyünde iki bölümle Eğitim-Öğretim faaliyetlerine başlamış, 1998 yılından itibaren Terzioğlu Kampüsüne taşınmıştır. Eğitim-Öğretim faaliyetleri, 9 bölüm altında, 82 öğretim üyesi olmak üzere toplam 97 öğretim elemanı ile devam etmektedir.

Fakültemiz çatısı altında bulunan dokuz bölüm ile toplam 1359 kayıtlı lisans öğrencimiz, 277 adet Lisans üstü düzeyde kayıtlı öğrencimiz, ile Eğitim-Öğretim faaliyetlerini sürdürmekteyiz. Kuruluşundan günümüze, 4000 civarında Ziraat Mühendisi mezun edilmiştir. Ayrıca tüm bölümlerimizde yüksek lisans ve doktora programları mevcuttur.

Ziraat Fakültemiz, uygulamaya dayalı güçlü eğitim modeliyle, akademik üretkenliği ve uluslararası iş birlikleriyle Türkiye’nin önde gelen ziraat fakültelerinden biridir. Sahada yetişen öğrencilerimiz, bilimle desteklenmiş programlarımızla yalnızca bugünün değil, geleceğin tarım profesyonelleri olarak mezun olmaktadır. Gerek Avrupa’daki üniversitelerle kurulan köprüler, gerekse Çanakkale Teknopark ’ta ve Fakültemiz dâhilinde dış kaynaklı yürütülen Ar-Ge faaliyetleri fakültemizin bilimsel ve stratejik gücünü yansıtmaktadır.

Sunulan Programlar

ÇOMÜ Ziraat Fakültesi, ziraat mühendisliği alanında güçlü bir akademik kadro ile eğitim vermektedir. Öğrencilerimize çeşitli seviyelerde eğitim imkânları sunulmaktadır:

• Lisans Programları: Fakültemizin 9 farklı bölümünde lisans eğitimi verilmektedir. Bölümler, öğrencilerin tarımsal üretimden teknolojik yeniliklere, hayvancılıktan ekonomik analizlere kadar geniş bir yelpazede uzmanlaşmasına olanak sağlar.
• Yüksek Lisans Programları: Akademik ve uygulamalı araştırma odaklı yüksek lisans programlarıyla, öğrenciler uzmanlık alanlarında derinleşebilir, ulusal ve uluslararası projelerde görev alabilir.
• Doktora Programları: Bilimsel araştırma kapasitesini artırmak isteyen öğrenciler için çeşitli disiplinlerde doktora eğitimi sunulmaktadır. Doktora öğrencileri, fakültenin Ar-Ge merkezleri ve laboratuvarlarında yenilikçi projeler geliştirmektedir.

Alt Yapı Olanakları

ÇOMÜ Ziraat Fakültesi, öğrencilerine ve akademisyenlerine çağdaş eğitim ve araştırma ortamı sağlamak için geniş ve modern altyapıya sahiptir:

• Laboratuvarlar: Her bölümün ihtiyaçlarına göre donatılmış toprak analiz, bitki biyoteknolojisi, zararlı ve hastalık tespiti, gıda kalite kontrol, sulama sistemleri, tarım makineleri ve zootekni laboratuvarları bulunmaktadır.
• Kütüphane: Fakültemize bağlı geniş bir kütüphane, basılı ve dijital kaynaklarla zenginleştirilmiştir. Öğrenciler güncel kitap, dergi ve makalelere erişebilir; çalışma salonlarında bireysel ve grup çalışmaları yapabilirler.
• Bilgisayar Altyapısı: Modern bilgisayar laboratuvarları, yüksek hızlı internet erişimi ve veri tabanı sistemleriyle donatılmıştır. Ayrıca, uzaktan eğitim ve çevrimiçi kaynaklara erişim için güçlü bir dijital altyapı mevcuttur.

ÇOMÜ Ziraat Fakültesi mezunları, aldıkları uygulamalı eğitim ve kazandıkları çok yönlü yetkinlikler sayesinde hem kamu hem özel sektörde geniş kariyer imkânlarına sahiptir. Tarım ve Orman Bakanlığı, Tarımsal Araştırma Enstitüleri, il ve ilçe tarım müdürlükleri, kooperatifler, tohumculuk ve gübre firmaları, gıda üretim ve denetim kuruluşları, arazi ıslah ve sulama projeleri, peyzaj uygulama firmaları ve tarımsal danışmanlık ofisleri gibi birçok alanda görev almaktadırlar. Staj ve İşyeri Eğitimi İmkânları

Fakültemizde uygulanan 7+1 iş yeri eğitimi modeli sayesinde öğrenciler, mezun olmadan önce sektörde doğrudan deneyim kazanmakta; yerel ve ulusal firmalarla kurulan iş birlikleri sayesinde tarla, laboratuvar ve işletme ortamlarında birebir uygulama yapabilmektedirler. Ayrıca TÜBİTAK stajyer araştırmacı programları, Erasmus+ staj hareketliliği ve öğrenci projeleri sayesinde farklı coğrafyalarda da mesleki deneyim edinmeleri teşvik edilmektedir.

Araştırma ve Proje İmkanları

Disiplinlerarası Altyapı, Uygulama Odaklı Proje Kültürü

ÇOMÜ Ziraat Fakültesi, farklı uzmanlık alanlarını kapsayan 9 akademik bölümüyle güçlü bir araştırma ve proje altyapısına sahiptir. Her bölüm, kendi alanına özgü donanımlı laboratuvarlar, uygulama seraları, deneme tarlaları ve özel araştırma merkezleri ile öğrenci ve akademisyenlerine özgün projeler üretme imkânı sunmaktadır.

Bitki Koruma, Bahçe Bitkileri, Tarla Bitkileri ve Zootekni bölümlerimizde, biyotik ve abiyotik streslere karşı geliştirilmiş çeşit denemeleri, entegre zararlı yönetimi, genetik ıslah ve hayvan refahı üzerine yoğun çalışmalar yürütülmektedir. Toprak Bilimi ve Bitki Besleme ile Tarımsal Yapılar ve Sulama bölümleri, toprak sağlığı, gübreleme teknikleri, sulama sistemleri ve arazi yönetimi üzerine özgün analizler ve Ar-Ge faaliyetleri gerçekleştirmektedir. Tarımsal Biyoteknoloji bölümü, moleküler biyoloji, genetik mühendisliği ve bitki genom çalışmalarıyla çağdaş biyoteknolojik yaklaşımları öğrencilerle buluştururken; Tarım Makineleri ve Teknolojileri Mühendisliği bölümü ise sensör teknolojileri, otonom tarım robotları ve mekanizasyon üzerine ileri düzey mühendislik projeleri üretmektedir. Tarım Ekonomisi bölümü, kırsal kalkınma, tarımsal politika analizi ve tarım işletmeciliği üzerine ekonomik modellemelerle sektöre yön veren çözümlemeler geliştirmektedir.

Öğrenci Projeleri ve Bilimsel Başarılar

Her bölümde lisans düzeyindeki öğrenciler, danışman akademisyenlerin rehberliğinde TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B, BAP ve dış kaynaklı projelerde yer almakta; birçok öğrencimiz uluslararası öğrenci kongreleri, disiplinlerarası yarışmalar ve inovasyon temelli etkinliklerde ödüller kazanmaktadır. Bu projeler, sadece bilimsel literatüre değil, aynı zamanda bölgesel kalkınmaya da doğrudan katkı sunmaktadır.

Erasmus+, Farabi ve Uluslararası Hareketlilik

ÇOMÜ Ziraat Fakültesi, öğrencilerine uluslararası düzeyde eğitim ve araştırma tecrübesi kazandırmayı hedeflemektedir. Erasmus+ değişim programı kapsamında, aktif iş birliği yürütülen 20'yi aşkın Avrupa üniversitesi ile öğrencilerimiz bir ya da iki dönem boyunca eğitim alabilmekte, staj yapabilmektedir. Farabi değişim programı ile Türkiye içindeki birçok üniversitede akademik hareketlilik fırsatları sunulmaktadır. Ayrıca, fakültemizde öğrenim gören uluslararası öğrenciler ve projelere katılan yabancı akademisyenlerle çok kültürlü bir öğrenme ortamı oluşturulmakta, farklı tarım sistemlerinin karşılaştırmalı analizi teşvik edilmektedir.

ÇOMÜ Ziraat Fakültesi, öğrencilerine sadece akademik değil; sosyal, kültürel ve sportif anlamda da zengin bir üniversite deneyimi sunmaktadır. Fakültemiz bünyesinde yer alan Zootekni Topluluğu, Bitki Koruma Öğrenci Topluluğu, Tarımsal Biyoteknoloji Kulübü, Toprak ve Çevre Kulübü, Tarım Ekonomisi Topluluğu gibi bölüm bazlı kulüplerin yanı sıra, üniversite genelinde faaliyet gösteren doğa yürüyüş grupları, fotoğraf kulübü, tiyatro atölyeleri gibi birçok topluluk öğrencilere ilgi alanlarını keşfetme ve geliştirme fırsatı sunmaktadır.

Kampüs Yaşamı, Spor ve Sanat

Fakültemiz, Çanakkale Boğazı’na sıfır konumda yer alan, doğayla iç içe bir kampüsün parçasıdır. Öğrencilerimiz kampüs içerisinde yer alan: Kapalı Spor Salonu, Fitness Merkezi, Olimpik Yüzme Havuzu gibi tesislerden ücretsiz olarak faydalanabilmektedir. Ayrıca fakültemize ait 400 kişilik modern amfi salonu, bilimsel seminerlerden kültürel etkinliklere kadar birçok organizasyona ev sahipliği yapmaktadır.

ÇANAKKALE ONSEKİZ MART UNIVERSITY FACULTY OF AGRICULTURE

Our faculty began its educational activities in 1995 in the Üvecik village of Ezine with two departments, and relocated to the Terzioğlu Campus in 1998. Educational activities continue under 9 departments with a total of 97 academic staff members, 82 of whom are faculty members.

We continue our educational activities with a total of 1359 registered undergraduate students and 277 graduate students across the nine departments under the umbrella of our faculty. Since its establishment, around 4000 Agricultural Engineers have graduated. Additionally, master's and doctoral programs are available in all our departments.

Our Faculty of Agriculture is one of the leading agriculture faculties in Turkey with its strong application-based education model, academic productivity, and international collaborations. Our students, trained in the field, graduate not only as today's but also as tomorrow's agricultural professionals through our science-supported programs. Both the bridges built with universities in Europe and the externally funded R&D activities carried out within the Çanakkale Technopark and our Faculty reflect the scientific and strategic strength of our institution.

Offered Programs

ÇOMÜ Faculty of Agriculture provides education with a strong academic staff in the field of agricultural engineering. Various levels of educational opportunities are offered to our students:

• Undergraduate Programs: Undergraduate education is provided in 9 different departments of our faculty. The departments allow students to specialize in a wide range of areas from agricultural production to technological innovations, and from animal husbandry to economic analysis.
• Master's Programs: With master's programs focused on academic and applied research, students can deepen their knowledge in their areas of expertise and take part in national and international projects.
• Doctoral Programs: Doctoral education is offered in various disciplines for students who want to increase their scientific research capacity. Doctoral students develop innovative projects in the faculty's R&D centers and laboratories.

Infrastructure Facilities

ÇOMÜ Faculty of Agriculture has a wide and modern infrastructure to provide a contemporary education and research environment for its students and academicians:

• Laboratories: There are laboratories for soil analysis, plant biotechnology, pest and disease detection, food quality control, irrigation systems, agricultural machinery, and zootechnics, equipped according to the needs of each department.
• Library: A large library affiliated with our faculty is enriched with printed and digital resources. Students can access current books, journals, and articles, and can engage in individual and group studies in the reading rooms.
• Computer Infrastructure: Modern computer laboratories are equipped with high-speed internet access and database systems. In addition, there is a strong digital infrastructure for distance education and access to online resources.

Our Graduates Are Shaping the Future of Agriculture

ÇOMÜ Faculty of Agriculture graduates have a wide range of career opportunities in both the public and private sectors thanks to the applied education they receive and the versatile competencies they gain. They work in many areas such as the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Agricultural Research Institutes, provincial and district agriculture directorates, cooperatives, seed and fertilizer companies, food production and inspection organizations, land reclamation and irrigation projects, landscape application companies, and agricultural consulting offices. Additionally, there is a strong possibility of pursuing an academic career through graduate education.

Internship and Workplace Training Opportunities

Thanks to the 7+1 workplace training model implemented in our faculty, students gain direct experience in the sector before graduating. Through collaborations established with local and national companies, they can practice one-on-one in field, laboratory, and business environments. Furthermore, gaining professional experience in different geographies is encouraged through TÜBİTAK intern researcher programs, Erasmus+ internship mobility, and student projects.

Research and Project Opportunities

Interdisciplinary Infrastructure, Application-Oriented Project Culture

ÇOMÜ Faculty of Agriculture has a strong research and project infrastructure with its 9 academic departments covering different fields of expertise. Each department offers students and academicians the opportunity to produce original projects with its well-equipped laboratories, application greenhouses, trial fields, and special research centers.

In our Plant Protection, Horticulture, Field Crops, and Zootechnics departments, intensive studies are carried out on variety trials developed against biotic and abiotic stresses, integrated pest management, genetic breeding, and animal welfare. The Soil Science and Plant Nutrition, and Agricultural Structures and Irrigation departments carry out original analyses and R&D activities on soil health, fertilization techniques, irrigation systems, and land management. The Agricultural Biotechnology department brings contemporary biotechnological approaches to students with molecular biology, genetic engineering, and plant genome studies. The Agricultural Machinery and Technologies Engineering department produces advanced engineering projects on sensor technologies, autonomous agricultural robots, and mechanization. The Agricultural Economics department develops solutions that guide the sector with economic modeling on rural development, agricultural policy analysis, and agricultural business management.

Student Projects and Scientific Achievements

Undergraduate students in every department take part in TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B, BAP, and externally funded projects under the guidance of advisor academicians. Many of our students win awards in international student congresses, interdisciplinary competitions, and innovation-based events. These projects directly contribute not only to scientific literature but also to regional development.

Erasmus+, Farabi, and International Mobility

ÇOMÜ Faculty of Agriculture aims to provide its students with international education and research experience. Within the scope of the Erasmus+ exchange program, our students can study or do internships for one or two semesters at more than 20 European universities with which active cooperation is maintained. Through the Farabi exchange program, academic mobility opportunities are offered at many universities within Turkey. In addition, a multicultural learning environment is created with international students studying at our faculty and foreign academicians participating in projects, and the comparative analysis of different agricultural systems is encouraged.

ÇOMÜ Faculty of Agriculture offers its students a rich university experience not only academically but also socially, culturally, and athletically. Our students organize events with various clubs and student societies according to their interests, and actively participate in social responsibility efforts as well as scientific projects.

In addition to department-based clubs within our faculty such as the Zootechnics Society, Plant Protection Student Society, Agricultural Biotechnology Club, Soil and Environment Club, and Agricultural Economics Society, many groups operating throughout the university—such as hiking groups, photography clubs, and theater workshops—offer students the opportunity to discover and develop their interests.

Our faculty is part of a campus intertwined with nature, located right on the shore of the Dardanelles (Çanakkale Strait). Our students can benefit from facilities located on the campus for free, such as the Indoor Sports Hall, Fitness Center, and Olympic Swimming Pool. ÇANAKKALE ONSEKİZ MART UNIVERSITÄT LANDWIRTSCHAFTLICHE FAKULTÄT

Unsere Fakultät nahm ihre Bildungs- und Lehraktivitäten im Jahr 1995 im Dorf Üvecik, das zu Ezine gehört, mit zwei Abteilungen auf und wurde 1998 auf den Terzioğlu-Campus verlegt. Die Bildungs- und Lehraktivitäten werden in 9 Abteilungen mit insgesamt 97 Lehrkräften, darunter 82 Fakultätsmitglieder, fortgesetzt.

Wir setzen unsere Bildungs- und Lehraktivitäten mit insgesamt 1359 eingeschriebenen Bachelor-Studenten und 277 eingeschriebenen Master- und Doktoranden in den neun Abteilungen unserer Fakultät fort. Seit ihrer Gründung haben etwa 4000 Agraringenieure ihren Abschluss gemacht. Darüber hinaus werden in allen unseren Abteilungen Master- und Promotionsprogramme angeboten.

Notre faculté a commencé ses activités d'enseignement et d'éducation en 1995 dans le village d'Üvecik, rattaché à Ezine, avec deux départements, et a été transférée sur le campus de Terzioğlu à partir de 1998. Les activités d'enseignement se poursuivent au sein de 9 départements avec un total de 97 membres du personnel enseignant, dont 82 professeurs.

Nous poursuivons nos activités d'enseignement avec un total de 1359 étudiants inscrits en premier cycle (licence) et 277 étudiants inscrits aux cycles supérieurs (master et doctorat) dans les neuf départements de notre faculté. Depuis sa création, environ 4000 ingénieurs agronomes ont été diplômés. De plus, des programmes de master et de doctorat sont disponibles dans tous nos départements.

Notre Faculté d'Agriculture est l'une des principales facultés d'agriculture de Turquie grâce à son modèle d'enseignement axé sur la pratique, sa productivité académique et ses collaborations internationales. La Facoltà di Agraria del ÇOMÜ mira a fornire ai propri studenti un'esperienza di istruzione e ricerca a livello internazionale. Nell'ambito del programma di scambio Erasmus+, i nostri studenti possono studiare o fare tirocini per uno o due semestri in oltre 20 università europee con le quali si mantengono collaborazioni attive. UNIVERSIDAD ÇANAKKALE ONSEKİZ MART FACULTAD DE AGRICULTURA

Nuestra facultad inició sus actividades educativas en 1995 en el pueblo de Üvecik, distrito de Ezine, con dos departamentos, y en 1998 se trasladó al Campus de Terzioğlu. Las actividades educativas continúan en 9 departamentos con un total de 97 miembros del personal académico, 82 de los cuales son profesores.

Continuamos nuestras actividades educativas con un total de 1359 estudiantes de grado (licenciatura) matriculados y 277 estudiantes de posgrado en los nueve departamentos bajo el amparo de nuestra facultad. Desde su creación, se han graduado alrededor de 4000 Ingenieros Agrónomos. Además, hay programas de maestría y doctorado disponibles en todos nuestros departamentos.

Nuestra Facultad de Agricultura es una de las principales facultades de agricultura de Turquía, gracias a su sólido modelo de educación basada en la práctica, su productividad académica y sus colaboraciones internacionales. • Programas de Grado (Licenciatura): Se imparte educación de grado en 9 departamentos diferentes de nuestra facultad. Infraestructura Interdisciplinaria, Cultura de Proyectos Orientada a la Aplicación
La Facultad de Agricultura de la ÇOMÜ cuenta con una sólida infraestructura de investigación y proyectos con sus 9 departamentos académicos que abarcan diferentes campos de especialización. Cada departamento ofrece a sus estudiantes y académicos la oportunidad de producir proyectos originales con sus laboratorios bien equipados, invernaderos de aplicación, campos de ensayo y centros de investigación especiales.

En nuestros departamentos de Protección Vegetal, Horticultura, Cultivos de Campo y Zootecnia, se llevan a cabo estudios intensivos sobre ensayos de variedades desarrolladas contra el estrés biótico y abiótico, manejo integrado de plagas, mejoramiento genético y bienestar animal. Los departamentos de Ciencia del Suelo y Nutrición Vegetal, y de Estructuras Agrícolas y Riego, llevan a cabo análisis originales y actividades de I+D sobre la salud del suelo, técnicas de fertilización, sistemas de riego y gestión de tierras. El departamento de Biotecnología Agrícola acerca los enfoques biotecnológicos contemporáneos a los estudiantes con estudios de biología molecular, ingeniería genética y genómica vegetal. El departamento de Ingeniería de Maquinaria y Tecnologías Agrícolas produce proyectos de ingeniería avanzada sobre tecnologías de sensores, robots agrícolas autónomos y mecanización. El departamento de Economía Agrícola desarrolla soluciones que guían al sector con modelos económicos sobre desarrollo rural, análisis de políticas agrícolas y gestión de empresas agrícolas.

Los estudiantes de grado de todos los departamentos participan en proyectos TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B, BAP (Proyectos de Investigación Científica) y proyectos con financiación externa bajo la dirección de académicos asesores; muchos de nuestros estudiantes ganan premios en congresos estudiantiles internacionales, concursos interdisciplinarios y eventos basados en la innovación. • ¿Podemos iniciar nuestro propio negocio? Sí. Nuestros graduados pueden elegir el camino del emprendimiento estableciendo sus propios invernaderos, granjas y oficinas de consultoría.
• ¿Es posible el traslado entre departamentos? Las oportunidades de transferencia lateral y doble titulación están disponibles para los estudiantes que cumplen con ciertos requisitos de éxito académico y cupos.
• ¿Es sólido el personal académico de la Facultad de Agricultura de la ÇOMÜ? Sí. Cuenta con un sólido personal académico compuesto por expertos en sus campos, que han participado en muchos proyectos nacionales e internacionales y han publicado ampliamente.
• ¿Pueden los estudiantes participar en proyectos de investigación? Sí. Los estudiantes de grado también pueden participar en proyectos como TÜBİTAK 2209-A y BAP, y adquirir experiencia en investigación.
• ¿Hay estudiantes extranjeros? Sí. En el marco de los programas de becas en el extranjero (YTB, Erasmus), muchos estudiantes de grado y posgrado de diferentes países estudian en nuestra facultad.
• ¿Cómo es la vida estudiantil en Çanakkale? Es una ciudad segura, tranquila y amigable para los estudiantes. Los eventos culturales, las áreas sociales costeras y los sitios históricos ofrecen a los estudiantes una vida placentera.
• ¿Es difícil conseguir una oportunidad de Erasmus o prácticas en el extranjero mientras se estudia en la Facultad de Agricultura? No, en absoluto. Tenemos convenios con muchas universidade en Europa en el marco del programa Erasmus+. Nuestros estudiantes que cumplen con los requisitos de solicitud pueden beneficiarse fácilmente de la movilidad de estudios y de pasantías. Además, nuestra universidad ofrece cursos de apoyo y preparación de exámenes para el dominio de idiomas extranjeros.
• ¿En qué áreas puedo especializarme en la Facultad de Agricultura? Durante el proceso de formación, se ofrecen oportunidades para especializarse en muchas áreas, como sanidad vegetal, análisis agrícola, biotecnología, sistemas de riego, maquinaria agrícola, ganadería y economía agrícola, a través de cursos departamentales, cursos electivos y proyectos aplicados. También es posible profundizar en estas áreas con programas de posgrado.
